Boyd serves on the Bartow Planning Commission (Vice Chairman), Zoning Appeals Board (Chairman), Cartersville Bartow Joint Development Authority II (JDA II, Secretary), JDA Design Control Committee (Chairman), Highland 75 Industrial Park HOA (Vice President), and is very active in the local Elks Lodge, (PER, Chairman of the Board of Trustees).
